DUMA Deck Installation Guide

DUMA Deck is an innovative Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) material designed to be weather-resistant, durable, and offer a natural wood-like appearance. To ensure a neat, strong, and long-lasting installation, it's crucial to follow the correct installation steps.

1. Surface Preparation

Before installation, ensure the surface is clean and level . Uninstalled DUMA Deck products should be stored in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight. A cast floor is recommended for installation for added sturdiness.

2. Frame Installation (Deck Base 45)

• Install the Deck Base 45 frame with a maximum distance of 25 cm between the frames .
• Especially for the end part, use 2 Deck Base strips to reduce the risk of bouncing.
• Make sure the distance between Deck Bases is consistent to maintain strength and stability.

3. Installing Edge Clips

• Use the Edge Clip to lock the first sheet of DUMA Deck to the Deck Base.
• The screws are installed about 2 cm from the edge .
• Make sure the deck is firmly attached and does not shift.

4. Installing Joint Clips

• For joints between boards, use Joint Clips for neater results.
• The distance between the boards should be 0.3 – 0.5 cm to anticipate the natural expansion and contraction of the material.
• Installing Joint Clips also makes it easier to dismantle and reassemble when repairs are needed.

5. Continue Installation

• After the first row is installed, continue installing the next board in a flat or zig-zag pattern (mout/round) according to design requirements.
• For a zig-zag pattern, add a Joint Clip at each joint for extra strength.

6. Finishing

• Once all the boards are installed, cover the edges with Fascia Strip for a neater finish.
• Make sure all surfaces are level and secure.
